Millets are the most consequential category in Indian food processing right now, and also the one where most new products quietly fail. The reason is technical rather than commercial: millet lipids oxidise fast, so unless dehulling and conditioning are done properly the flour goes rancid within weeks. Shelf life in a millet product is a processing problem long before it is a packaging problem.

Our millet system handles the grain end to end (dehulling, flour, semolina and rava, grits, flakes and rice analogues) and feeds directly into our extruders for finished snacks, cereals and bars. That combination is unusual, and it is where our thirteen food technologists spend most of their development time.

The portfolio runs from millet flour and rava through dosa, idli, upma, roti, porridge and khichdi mixes to millet breakfast cereal, extruded snacks, cookies, energy bars, ladoo, chocolate bites and millet beverages.

What is the minimum order for millet foods?

It varies by product and format. We publish the exact minimum order on every individual product page rather than hiding it behind a contact form. As a broad guide, dry and powder products start lowest, flexible-pack products sit in the middle, and canned products carry the highest minimums because tin economics demand it.

Do you develop new products in this category?

Yes. Our thirteen-strong nutrition and food technology team, led by food scientists who hold PhDs, develops formulations from a brief and scales recipes you already own. Development typically takes eight to sixteen weeks including a pilot batch and shelf life validation.
